The 25th Bermudian Open had an increase to
50 players and was a Canadian success with both the tie-breaks blitz (to win the
return trip and hotel for 2010 being all Canadian affairs). Charbonneau beating
Cummings and Moffat beating Ho. Regret I cannot find many top games (they tend
to forget to hand them in). It least it gives me a chance to show you that once
in a while I can play something resembling chess! Denis Strenzwilk received
special prizes for participating in all 25! Thanks especially to Donna Reis for
